ES Forklifts offer a full onsite service throughout Monaghan, Louth, Cavan in Ireland Tyrone, Armagh and Fermanagh in Northern from emergency breakdown to routine maintenance.

Our Contracts

Our Service Contracts are available on request. The contract does not require a signed agreement but operates on a verbal arrangement which can be terminated or altered at any time by the customer.

Our Service office maintains a Service Schedule for every Forklift on contract and we advice the customer when each service becomes due. The servicing period is previously agreed with the customer according to the work cycle of the truck every three months, four months or six months. A specific time is then agreed upon, convenient to the customer and ourselves, for the service to be carried out.

On average a full service will take about two hours. We would of course encourage you to have a service contract with us as it has been well proven that regular servicing considerably increases forklift life, and minimises expensive downtime.

All service vans are fully kitted out with a full complement of workshop tools and parts for on the spot repairs.

All engineers are fully experienced to work on a wide range of forklifts including:

  • Toyota
  • Combi-lift
  • Komatsu
  • Finlay
  • Mitsubishi
  • Hyster
  • Yale
  • Caterpillar
  • TCM
  • Nissan

For any major repairs, a replacement model will be left.

Thorough Examination Certificate

ES Forklifts Ltd have 2 certified engineers trained to carry out Thorough Examination of Forklift trucks. On passing the test, an FLTA certificate can be issued by the engineer which is recognised by the insurance companies. This cert helps the employer comply with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations 2007 and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 regarding the safety of the Forklift.

All types of Forklift trucks, of which there are many designs, become dangerous pieces of equipment if they are not maintained adequately and services regularly, or if they are operated incorrectly.

It is estimated that there are some 30,000 trucks in operation in Ireland and serious accidents are far too frequent. Many Forklift truck accidents have serious economic consequences and many incur serious harm to individuals. There are about 900 lift truck accidents resulting in injury each year. In 2008 there were 3 fatal accidents in ireland involving Forklift trucks.

Too many of these accidents are caused by poor maintenance.

The proper inspection of lifting equipment can help reduce accidents and hence help reduce the possibility of injury or death.
